Pastor Scott Laws

Scott is married to Debrah, they have been married 44 years. He has 5 adult children, Lydia Faith , Stephanie Hope , Sarah Love , Stuart Brandon, and Matthew Ryan, and 7 grandchildren. He has pastored 3 churches, served as associate pastor in 5 churches. He has taught Middle and High School for 7 years. Scott was Pastor of Counseling, Global Missions ,and Evangelism at Hickory Grove Baptist Church Charlotte, NC. for 10 years. At Hickory Grove Scott logged over 5000 session hours as Pastor of counseling. Scott’s counseling ministry includes Marriage and Family, Anger Management ,Abuse, Grief and Crisis. He holds a B.A. degree in Bible and a Master’s degree in Clinical Christian Counseling. Scott is a Licensed Pastoral Counselor, Licensed Temperament Therapist with the National Christian Counselors Assoc. and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, Association of Biblical Counselors. He completed a two year extensive Neuthetic counseling course of study with Dr. Jay Adams. The one thing that gives Scott the greatest fulfillment in life is teaching the Word of God and encouraging spiritual growth in anyone desiring help.
